The Rixeyville Brewing Company, now operating under the trade name Gusto di Vita, was

founded in 2001by the Brown family and is still operated as a family business.  Our kiosks were

the first in our area to offer gourmet espresso drinks with the convenience of drive-thru.

Over the past several years, we have developed a top-quality product line in order to bring

you the finest quality coffee, frappes (smoothies) and other beverages.  

Frustrated with the lack of charm and quality in the kiosks we had originally purchased from

others, we designed our own drive-thru kiosk in 2004.  The first model was an 8x13 wood-frame

structure.   The architecture reflected an old-world Italian style while using the latest in modern

innovation and the highest quality materials.  It was designed for minimal maintenance to

ensure that our locations would always look fresh and inviting.  Now we have created a new

and improved kiosk which uses a recycled shipping container (or ISBU) for the basic structure.

We are very excited about this new concept because, not only does it give us a very high

quality and rugged structure, but it is also eco-friendly since for each kiosk we build, there's one

less shipping container piled at a U.S. port.  We still finish these inside and out with the same

high-quality materials and have kept the same 'old-world' Italian charm in the new 20' building

so that by the time we're done, you'd never know there's a shipping container underneath.

We also strive for friendly and efficient customer service that goes beyond just passing a cup of

coffee out the window.  In training our baristas, we emphasize friendliness, speed, accuracy

and cleanliness.  We want to make your stop at our kiosks a pleasant and satisfying moment -

a little bright spot in your day.  We want the taste of our product and the quality of our service

to be second to none - to bring our customers back again and again.

We started with two small kiosks and now operate four locations.  We plan to keep growing and

are determined to continue to provide the best coffee experience in the business.  Try us and

We believe that we have created a great business model that can be duplicated in other

locations and have put together a total 'biz-pod' package - building, equipment, products and

training - that will allow others to establish their own drive-thru or walk-up gourmet coffee

businesses without having to learn a lot of things the hard way like we did when we first started

We also have plans to develop similar 'biz-pod' kiosks for other entrepreneurs who want to offer
