Gusto di Vita 'BIZ-POD' KIOSKS

THE

Gusto di Vita              KIOSK

Our kiosks are constructed of the highest-quality, commercial/industrial grade materials and were designed for minimal maintenance.  The attractive detailing and trim, including the light fixtures, awnings and flower boxes is designed to evoke an "old-world" Italian styling.

The design is based on our experience in operating several drive-thru coffee kiosks over more than seven years.  Our goal was to design an ideal coffee kiosk in terms of maximum efficiency, durability and employee comfort.  We think our state-approved design achieves those goals admirably.

We offer our 20' 'biz-pod' kiosk in several configurations: with storeroom or restroom, for locations with water and sewer hook-up or for pump-and haul for locations where those are not available.  The kiosk has two service windows which work equally well for drive-thru or walk-up allowing for site flexibility.  It can be operated as a 2-lane drive-thru, a two window walk-up or a combination drive-thru and walk-up.

Our 8x13 model in Warrenton, Virginia

Our original 8x13 design had a conventional steel and wood frame but our new

20' Biz-pod model begins with a recycled shipping container or ISBU, which gives us a tough, easily-transported structure.  And for each ISBU we recycle, that's one less container piling up at a U.S. port.  Click here for more information on ISBU 'biz-pods'

The ISBU is then insulated using dual high-tech insulation method, resulting in an above-code insulation rating.   Click here for more information.

The windows are commercial-grade store-front type windows with tinted, double-pane glazing and bronzed aluminum sashes.

We then cover the structure with industrial-grade panels coated with a porcelain stucco-embossed finish which carries a 25-year guarantee against crazing, cracking, peeling and fading.  These panels are also non-rusting and resist scratching, scuffing and graffiti.

The exterior is then trimmed in cellular PVC board (Azek) and high-density Polyurethane.  Both of these materials are rot-proof, mildew-resistant, non-warping or splitting and hold paint better than traditional wood trim.  Some of the trim will be installed at our facility prior to shipping, the rest will be shipped inside the kiosk and can be quickly and easily mounted once the building has been installed at its destination.  And by the time it's on, no one would ever guess this classy kiosk building began life as a recycled shipping container.

We continue this level of quality on the interior as well, sheathing the interior wall surfaces in tough, washable, mildew-proof Fiberglass-reinforced plastic over a corrugated plastic core which meets all applicable health standards.

The floor is covered with top-grade vinyl (optionally troweled epoxy flooring), with well-sealed base board trim.

Heating and air-conditioning is provided by an efficient, roof-mounted 24,000-BTU heat pump.

The building is transportable and can be placed on your site with a heavy-duty forklift.  It will be transported in a nearly-finished condition, with only minor assembly required after placement.

Of course upon purchase, you will own your kiosk outright and be responsible for all maintenance, insurance, etc.
